Information you choose to share
When online forms are available and you submit a stay request, the website sends your name, email address, optional phone number, requested home, dates, guest count, and anything you add to your note. A general inquiry or returning-guest note sends the contact information and message you choose to provide.
Please do not include payment-card information, health information, information about children, or other sensitive personal details in an open message field.
Information from the website
Our hosting, form-delivery, and security providers may process basic technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, pages requested, and security events when needed to deliver and protect the website.
The Guidebook can save favorites in your browser's local storage. Those saved places stay on that device unless you clear them; they are not added to a booking request automatically.
How information is used
We use information you provide to respond to questions, review stay requests, communicate about availability and rates, prevent abuse, and operate the website. The current forms do not enroll you in marketing messages.
Service providers and other websites
When online submission is enabled, Formspree processes and forwards form submissions, and Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information used to distinguish people from automated abuse. Our website host also processes requests needed to serve and protect the site. These providers operate under their own documented terms.
The Explore and Guidebook pages link to independent websites and map services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.
Retention and your choices
Skaneateles LLC keeps completed or declined inquiries for up to 24 months and abandoned or incomplete inquiries for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is reasonably required for legal, accounting, security, or operational purposes. Provider copies and service logs may follow the provider's own retention schedule.
You can remove Guidebook favorites by clearing saved places in the Guidebook or clearing local site data in your browser. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you shared with us, email hello@skaneateleslanding.com. We handle verified requests subject to legitimate required record retention.
